Sacha Baron Cohen Dusts Off Borat & Ali G Characters For ‘Tonight Show’ Appearance

It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen Sacha Baron Cohen really embrace his comedic side for a project. And it’s been too long since we’ve seen him bring back some of his classic characters like Ali G and Borat. Well, he dusted them off for a new ‘Tonight Show’ moment and it really does make you miss the good ol’ days of Cohen’s comedic career.

While appearing on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Sacha Baron Cohen was asked to get into character, as both Ali G and Borat, and pretend like he was moderating a debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. As you might expect, Cohen did so and it was pretty hilarious.

As Ali G, he talked about how he has “respeck” for Donald Trump because of his various crimes and sex with porn stars. And when it came to talking to Kamala Harris, he said, “When I look at you on the television, me gets a massive election.”

The crowd of the ‘Tonight Show’ got really excited when Cohen added a mustache and went into Borat mode. And both of Borat’s comments to the Presidential candidates were classic.

“Mr. Trumps. You say in Ohio that people are eat the cats and the dogs. Which restaurant do they serve them at? Can you get me a reservation please?” Borat said. “In my country we have KFC: Kazakh Fried Cat. It’s pussy-licking good.”

And as for Kamala…

“You are a woman, a person of color, and married to a Jew,” he added. “I advise you not to come to Kazakhstan. You already have made three out of the four crimes punishable by death. Please do tell me you have made sexy time with an underage bear.”

Sadly, it doesn’t appear like we’ll be getting any new Ali G or Borat specials anytime soon. The last time Cohen did something like this, it was for the “Borat” sequel. He also created some new characters for 2018’s “Who is America?”
