The feature directorial debut for former “SNL” writer Jillian Bell, “Summer Of 69” follows a high school senior who hires an exotic dancer (Chloe Fineman) to help her charm her longtime crush. What could go wrong here, right?
Here’s an official synopsis for “Summer Of 69,” courtesy of Hulu:
An awkward high school senior hires an exotic dancer to help seduce her longtime crush before graduation, leading to unexpected friendship and lessons in self-confidence, acceptance and adulthood.
Along with Fineman, “Summer Of 69” also stars Sam Morelos, Matt Cornett, Nicole Byer, Liza Koshy, Natalie Morales, and Alex Moffat. Fernando Carsa, Paula Pell, and Charlie Day round out the main cast.
Bell directs “Summer Of 69,” and co-writes its script with Liz Nico and Jules Byrne. Jeremy Garelick leads producers with Will Phelps, Molle DeBartolo, Jillian Bell, Breanna Bell-Singer, Matt Skiena, Adam Goodman, and Lucas Carter.
