And there came a day… a day just like any other… a day when Earth’s movie fans were presented with a mind-numbingly dull teaser trailer for a film property that hasn’t even made it in front of cameras yet…
Yes, it’s our first look (well, listen) at “The Avengers.” Sure, there’s no actual footage, but that’s not to deter Marvel from delivering us with the non-event of a trailer for their future team-up.
Led by a pulse-pounding voice-over from Samuel L Jackson in his Nick Fury persona, we watch a nearly completely black screen as we breathlessly listen to some stuff about heroes-teaming up to fight a villain that no single hero could face alone, and when we think this trailer couldn’t get any more amazing… we get to see the logo! There’s no word yet on if the logo will get its own spin off, or who will be voicing the logo in the film (we suggest Brad Garrett) but we nearly passed out from all the excitement.
