Can Christian Wolff find a former associate’s killer? The character is back to face foes and family alike in “The Accountant 2.” This Amazon MGM Studios film sees Wolff in danger after others discover a unique message. He’s not alone this time, opting for the deadly talents of his estranged brother Brax and the partnership of U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina. Gavin O’Connor returns to direct this second outing from a screenplay by “The Accountant” screenwriter Bill Dubuque.

The upcoming project features an intriguing mix of the original film’s stars and franchise newcomers. Ben Affleck reprises his role of Wolff, with Jon Bernthal once again portraying Brax. Cynthia Addai-Robinson and J.K. Simmons also return to play memorable characters from the first film. Daniella Pineda and Allison Robertson also star in “The Accountant 2.”

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) has a talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant,” Wolff is compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, Wolff recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal), to help. In partnership with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.
