The Duffer Brothers have ended their mainline run of “Stranger Things,” but are coming back with “The Boroughs,” as the pair are executive producing the new genre-bending supernatural series coming to Netflix, with veteran actor Alfred Molina (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”) toplining the new streaming project that takes place in a retirement community in Albuquerque, New Mexico (the iconic locale used for “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul”).
With that, the streamer has shared a new teaser trailer giving us and audiences alike a good preview of what to expect from “The Boroughs,” which comes from showrunners/creators Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, who exec-produce alongside The Duffers and Hilary Leavitt of Upside Down Pictures, and Ben Taylor.

In a seemingly perfect retirement community, a grieving newcomer’s monstrous encounter inspires him to join a misfit crew of unlikely heroes who uncover a dark secret that proves their “golden years” are more dangerous and they are more formidable than anyone expects.
The show’s impressive cast also features the talents of Geena Davis (Renee), Alfre Woodard (Judy), Denis O’Hare (Wally), Clarke Peters (Art), Bill Pullman (Jack), Carlos Miranda (Paz), Jena Malone (Claire), Seth Numrich (Blaine), Alice Kremelberg (Anneliese), Ed Begley Jr. (Edward), Dee Wallace (Grace), Eric Edelstein (Hank), Rafael Casal (Neil), Mousa Hussein Kraish (Dr. McGinnis), Beth Bailey (Kayleigh), Karan Soni (Toby) with Jane Kaczmarek (Lilly) and more.
