As the idiom goes, good fences make good neighbors, but sometimes people need to learn that lesson the hard way. So it goes for the couple at the center of Amazon Prime Video‘s latest original movie, “The Voyeurs,” whose curiosity about their neighbors across the street leads to dire consequences for all involved.

The new film from Michael Mohan, best known for his work on Netflix‘s “Everything Sucks!” show back in 2018, stars Justice Smith (‘Generation’) and Sydney Sweeney (‘The White Lotus’), whose casual snooping leads to some misadventures.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
When Pippa and Thomas move into their dream apartment, they notice that their windows look directly into the apartment opposite – inviting them to witness the volatile relationship of the attractive couple across the street. But when they attempt to intercede in their lives anonymously, they unwittingly sets in motion a chain of events that will lead to disaster.
“The Voyeurs” also stars Ben Hardy and Natasha Liu Bardizzo. Cait Alexander, Katharine King So, Madeline Harvey, Daniel Grogan, and Blessing Adedjio are also on board.

Greg Gilreath and Adam Hendricks, who co-produced the 2018 erotic horror film “Cam,” serve as producers on “The Voyeurs.” Given the similar themes of lust and surveillance, one expects this film may be similarly seedy to “Cam.”
