Poolman
Chris Pine makes his directorial debut with this kinetic noir comedy about an anxious pool cleaner who unravels a curious conspiracy in the city of Los Angeles. Pine stars alongside him are Annette Bening, Danny DeVito, DeWanda Wise, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and composer Andrew Bird, who wrote the score.

Knox Goes Away
His first directorial effort since his debut in 2008 with “The Merry Gentleman,Michael Keaton finally returns to the directing chair. Starring himself again, Keaton plays the titular hitman, losing his memory, putting him in a race against time to help his estranged son (James Marsden) cover up a messy crime.  Al Pacino, Joanna Kulig, Ray Mckinnon, and Marcia Gay Harden co-star.

“Seven Veils”
Atom Egoyan and Amanda Seyfried team up again for the drama “Seven Veils.” Seyfried plays a theatre director who is recently separated from her husband. While attempting to revisit her mentor’s most famous work, she must face her trauma and disturbing memories from her past. The film also stars Rebecca Liddiard, Douglas Smith, Mark O’Brien, and Vinessa Antoine. 

“Woman Of The Hour”
Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut tells a wild story. In the 1970s, during the height of his murder spree, a killer appeared on network television on “The Dating Game” and won a date with a lovely contestant who wasn’t the wiser. Kendrick stars alongside Tony Hale, Daniel Zovatto, and Nicolette Robinson. 

“The Dead Don’t Hurt”
Viggo Mortensen’s sophomore directorial feature is a romantic Western set in the 1860s. The film tells the story of a French-Canadian woman (Vickey Krieps) who falls in love with a Danish immigrant (Mortensen), but they are separated by the civil war. Solly McLeod, Garret Dillahunt, Colin Morgan, Ray Mckinnon, W Earl Brown, Atlas Green, and Danny Houston co-star.

Quiz Lady
From Oscar winner Jessica Yu (who won an Academy Award for the short doc “Breathing Lessons” comes a comedy starring Awkwafina and Sandra Oh as two very different sisters who are forced to pay off their mother’s gambling debts by concocting a scheme to go on a quiz show.

North Star
For her feature-length directorial debut, actor-turned-filmmaker Kristin Scott Thomas stars alongside Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller and Emily Beecham. The film is a family drama about three sisters who are hung up on the men in their lives as their mother (Scott Thomas) prepares for her third wedding.
