The death of your family would definitely be enough to send any person over the edge. However, if you’re a private investigator that loses your family and then realizes that it might be linked to some grand conspiracy, it might drive you a bit insane, such as in the upcoming thriller, “Wander.”

As seen in the trailer for “Wander,” the film follows the story of a gruff private investigator that has gone off the deep end a bit after the death of his daughter. That grief is only magnified when he’s hired to look at the strange goings on in the town of Wander, which could be linked to some sort of cult conspiracy. Oh yeah, and all of it might lead back to the death of his kid. Yep, there’s definitely a reason why the private investigator is more paranoid than your average person.
The film stars Aaron Eckhart, Katheryn Winnick, Heather Graham, and Tommy Lee Jones. Honestly, anything with Tommy Lee Jones is enough to be worth a watch, no matter who else stars or what story is being told. He’s a legend. That’s a pretty great cast for this thriller directed by April Mullen. The filmmaker is probably best known for her most recent TV directing work on series such as “Lethal Weapon,” “Wynonna Earp,” “The Killjoys,” and “The Rookie.”
“Wander” arrives in select theaters and VOD on December 4. You can watch the trailer below.
Here’s the synopsis:
After getting hired to probe a suspicious death in the small town of Wander, a mentally unstable private investigator becomes convinced the case is linked to the same ‘conspiracy cover up’ that caused the death of his daughter.
