Not only are the "The Muppets" coming in just over a week, they will be bringing along another surprise for audiences — a brand new "Toy Story" short film. Pixar has certainly been keeping the franchise alive after it "ended" with "Toy Story 3," delivering "Hawaiian Vacation" in front of "Cars 2" this summer. And now "Small Fry" will offer up another adventure with Woody, Buzz and the gang, and a sneak preview has landed online.
Angus MacLane ("Burn-E") directs the seven-minute short that has Buzz Lightyear getting kidnapped and left behind at a fast-food restaurant by a pint-sized Happy Meal toy who yearns for a more exciting life. In this clip, Buzz plots a daring escape but literally falls into something quite unexpected, meeting a Mermaid voiced by Jane Lynch. Regulars Tom Hanks, John Ratzenberger (Hamm) and Joan Cusack (Jessie) are back as well.
"The Muppets" and "Small Fry" land in theaters on November 23rd. Watch below. [via HeyUGuys]
