The "talking animals" trope has long been a staple in the animated world, but his year it seems to be resonating in a big way. Disney‘s "Zootopia" is cruising to $900 million worldwide and beyond, and Illumination Entertainment are hoping they can have the same kind of success with "The Secret Life Of Pets."
Certainly, the star power can’t be denied, with Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks lending their voices to this tale about everyone’s favorite furry friends who find themselves on adventure in the big city.
