“Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen” was notable for many things. It was a successful sequel to the smash hit first film, helping to inch the series closer to the billion dollar status of the third film, “Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.” It started a bitter feud between director Michael Bay and Megan Fox (since amended by her role in the Bay produced “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles“). It showed that audiences really liked watching shiny things fight each other. But was it an actual movie?
According to the folks at Screen Junkies via their Honest Trailer, only by the very barest definition of the word. Ridiculous and unfunny, with recycled shots and incoherent actions scenes, “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen” is the kind of movie that even the most ardent of Michael-Bay-as-auteur acolytes would find hard to defend. It’s certainly the most unwatchable of the movies to date, which makes for a more entertaining Honest Trailer as a result. Check it out below.
