For those of you lamenting the death of movies for adults that don’t feature explosions, this summer Ian McKellen has got your back. He’s on the case in "Mr. Holmes" and a new international teaser trailer has dropped for the mystery drama.
Reteaming with his "Gods And Monsters" director Bill Condon, and co-starring Laura Linney, Milo Parker, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Hattie Morahan, the film chronicles the last mystery of the aging Sherlock Holmes, who at 93 years old, wants to put one last unsolved case to bed. This is one that charmed our critic at the Berlin International Film Festival, who called it "a thoughtful and moving study of age and memory, fiction and reality, fame and privacy."
"Mr. Holmes" opens on July 17th.
