In their vintage-inspired nerdy fashion, they eat breakfast, sleep in sleeping masks, and make profound observations about people’s tendency to anthropomorphize bears. It’s not entirely unexpected stuff from Dunham — fans will relish another taste of her off-kilter worldview, while haters will gag at the postured self-deprecation and twee aesthetic. This certainly doesn’t mark an attempt by Dunham to be any less polarizing — and maybe she deserves credit for that.
