Watch: Muscles, Ninjas & Car Chases In New Clips From 'Pain & Gain,' 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' & 'The Host'

nullIt’s Sunday afternoon TV clip round-up time. Here we go. Paramount has released a new “Pain & Gain” TV spot. As Michael Bay’s take on the relatively low-budget comedic crime film, the TV spot is chock-full of sunned muscles and imminent chase scenes (hinted at through boats, cop cars, and helicopters). Based on a true story, “Pain & Gain” is about three Florida bodybuilders who become involved in extortion and kidnapping. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, and Anthony Mackie as the three “steroid-abusing knucklehead bodybuilders,” the supporting cast includes Ed Harris, Tony Shalhoub, Rob Corddry, Rebel Wilson, and Ken Jeong. “Pain & Gain” will be out in theaters April 23rd and it looks as if it could be Bay’s best movie ever with a great sense of wit and knowing humor. Check out the clip below.

Paramount’s been busy. Here’s another clip from “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” aka “G.I. Joe 2.” Jinx (Elodie Yung) and Snake Eyes (Ray Park) fight using sword-wielding martial arts (what else would they fight with?). Coming out next week (March 28th), ‘G.I. Joe 2’ follows the G.I. Joes as they fight Cobra and nefarious threats from within the government. Cast includes Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, and Bruce Willis. After you watch the clip below, check out three other ‘G.I. Joe 2’ clips and four minutes of ‘G.I. Joe 2’ ninja fighting.

Open Road has released a new clip from “The Host,” coming out next week on March 29th. As Stephenie Meyer’s latest foray onto the big screen, “The Host” is an alien-invasion romance starring Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons (yes, that Irons), and Jack Abel as the traditional Meyers romantic triangle. The clip features a female helicopter co-pilot with alien eyes and two shade-wearing hunks in a truck. The film’s cast includes Diane Kruger, Frances Fisher, and William Hurt. After you watch the clip below, check out the trailer and three other clips) from “The Host.”
