Watch: New International Trailer For 'Django Unchained' Offers Up A Bit More Footage

null"The production was just out of control, over-budget, it was everywhere," Anthony LaPaglia recently shared about Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," which he was compelled to drop out of as his shooting schedule got pushed further and further back. And with the film only wrapping at the end of July, it's going to be a race to reach its December release. And while some folks will recall Tarantino was under a similiar time crunch with "Inglorious Basterds" in order to make its Cannes Film Festival premiere in 2009, he also had the luxury of being able to go in and edit before it hit theaters. Can he get 'Django' in under the wire? Our guess is yes, and certainly, the marketing team believes so as well.

A new South American trailer has dropped for the movie, and though it only runs a brief one minute long, there's enough new bits of footage and moments, to make it worth a quick click. It establishes everything we already know: Jamie Foxx plays a freed slave who teams with a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz), to wrangle his wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) from the clutches of a flamboyant plantation own, played by Leonardo DiCaprio who looks like he's having the time of his life playing the villain.

"Django Unchained" co-stars a whole bunch of people too long to list here and opens on Christmas Day. Watch below. [The Quentin Tarantino Archives]
