What else is there to say about Lars von Trier‘s “Nymphomaniac“? If you managed to keep your curiosity at bay and haven’t watched the two volume sexytimes dramedy yet, now’s the time. LVT has completed his director’s cut of the movie, which puts the running time in the neighborhood of 5 1/2 hours, and how you can soon view it in the comfort of your own home. And if you need a reminder of what’s uh, coming, a new teaser has dropped.
If you’re at work, not to fear, as this one is far cleaner than the very NSFW trailer that dropped not too long ago, but you might not want to call in your boss to watch it with you. The video is still all the right kinds of wrong and naughty, spanking and whoring beds abounding, and the suggestion of much more. In short, it’s pure Lars, with the director mashing his palms all over the buttons marked “Provocative,” and guess what, it worked, because it’s still one of the year’s most talked about films.
