As the Marvel universe continues to expand, we haven’t seen much crossover really between the movies and TV shows. Oh sure, Clark Gregg‘s Agent Coulson transitioned over to "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.," and there have been cameos here and there, but for the most part, the events in the movies are observed by the characters in the TV shows, and that’s about it. And even as Netflix gears up to release "Daredevil" season 2, which not only marks the return to the title hero, but brings a new version of Punisher (played by Jon Bernthal), lead actor Charlie Cox is candid about the chances of seeing him in a Marvel movie anytime soon.
“Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things. So even [Daredevil] were to appear in that film, that doesn’t necessarily mean that I would appear in that film. I will pick a fight with the guy that they choose,” he told Entertainment Tonight last month.

Cox needn’t worry, though. I would seriously doubt Marvel would mess with a good thing, when the fans love the series, and his incarnation of "Daredevil." Maybe, one day, Marvel TV and Marvel Studios could make a deal for a real deal, crossover appearance, because you know the fans would love it.
"Daredevil" returns on March 18th. Watch the new trailer below.
