Watch: Rachel McAdams & Noomi Rapace Get Kinky & Creepy In Trailer For Brian De Palma’s ‘Passion’

nullDepending on which side of the fence you're on, Brian De Palma hasn't made a good movie since the '90s, or he hasn't lost his touch. For everyone who dislikes a certain film, particularly recent pictures like "Femme Fatale" or "The Black Dahlia," there are just as many ready to find the merit and pleasures in the work. And judging by the first trailer for "Passion," that will probably be the case here.

Starring Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace, the film is a loose remake of Alain Corneau's 2010 flick “Love Crime,” which starred Ludivine Sagnier and Kristin Scott-Thomas, and tells the story two women involved in a sexy and dangerous power struggle while working at a multinational conglomerate. And for this writer, the film looks to be pretty high camp in this brief new trailer, a situation not aided by what appears to be a low budget and some pretty gaudy digital photography. But we will say this: the nod to "On The Waterfront" with the taxi cab scene is pretty sweet. But overall, it seems primed for late-night viewing on Cinemax.

"Passion" will premiere in Venice and hit Toronto shortly thereafter — no distributor on board yet. Watch below. [Vlicioius!]
