There’s no shortage of good television these days, but you’d have to look far and wide to find a better cast than the one on Netflix‘s “Bloodline.” With stars like Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Sam Shephard, and Ben Mendelsohn — who previously won an Emmy for his role as the black sheep of the family — “Bloodline” follows in the fine tradition of southern noir about returning home and the skeletons buried in your family’s closet. Earlier today, Netflix released the first teaser for the final season, promising a violent resolution for the Rayburn clan.
Here’s the full plot synopsis:
In “Bloodline,” the Rayburns are hard-working pillars of their Florida Keys community, but their past contains dark secrets that they hope remain buried. Paranoia and mistrust build as lies pile up, alliances are shattered and an unthinkable crime takes place. The tight-knit family’s formerly harmonious relationship deteriorates, and good people are forced to consider doing very bad things.
The final season of “Bloodline” will be available to stream on Friday, May 26.
