An early teaser for fantasy epic “Game of Thrones” premiered alongside “True Blood” last night. It gives very little away, but with the network’s track record, Tom McCarthy (“The Station Agent”) at the helm for the pilot episode, writers like David Benioff (“25th Hour”) involved and a strong cast including Sean Bean, Mark Addy, Peter Dinklage, Iain Glen, Alfie Allen (“Atonement”) and Lena Headey, we’re going to keep an eye on it.
The fantasy series is based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song Of Ice and Fire novels and will hit the cable network next year.
