The Aussie native sat down to appear on the Four Quadrant podcast just in time to discuss the ninth episode of the 13 episode season.  And, be warned, there are major spoilers in our conversation because of the events that occur with Mrs. Wateford in the past two episodes.  Strahovski also discusses her unique perspective on Serena and Offred’s relationship, Serena’s view on the long-term prospects for the authoritarian state she’s helped fashion, why Serena is an “island,” how she justifies Offred’s disrespect and the backstory Miller informs her of to justify Serena’s actions (Strahovski says Miller will remark “It has to be Yvonne proof.”).

If you’re a true fan of “The Handmaid’s Tale” this is, however, a must-listen episode as Strahovski provides some fascinating insight to what will likely be another Emmy-winning season.
