Directed by Eric Howell, and based on the novel by Silvio Raffo, the film is set in the 1950s, and follows a young nurse who is sent to care for a young boy who has stopped speaking following the death of his mother, but believes he can hear her speaking in the walls of the castle in which he lives. “[The atmosphere of the house is] mixed in with all of the loneliness she has felt in her life as a nurse who is always moving from one family to another,” Clarke told USA Today about her character. “It seems that happiness is only a family away.”

“Voice From The Stone” opens on in theaters and on VOD on April 28th.
