The end of the silo is officially in sight. Apple TV has released the first teaser for the fourth and final season of “Silo,” confirming that Rebecca Ferguson’s acclaimed dystopian drama will return on July 9, 2027.
The announcement arrives alongside the conclusion of Season 3, which divided its story between two timelines. In the present, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) returned to Silo 18 without her memories as the underground community recovered from rebellion and confronted another threat. Centuries earlier, journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncovered the conspiracy that set humanity on its catastrophic path underground.
Apple’s spoiler-heavy sneak peek—be forewarned—picks up directly after the Season 3 finale and offers the first look at the final stage of Juliette’s attempt to expose the forces controlling the silos. The series has spent three seasons gradually answering the mysteries surrounding its underground civilization, and the concluding chapter will now have to resolve both the rebellion inside Silo 18 and the larger truth behind the system’s creation.
The four-season endpoint has been planned for some time. Ferguson said in 2024 that the creative team knew where the story would conclude and expected Seasons 3 and 4 to complete the adaptation of Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy.
Created by Graham Yost, “Silo” is produced by Apple Studios and executive produced by Yost, Ferguson, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Morten Tyldum, Howey, Amber Templemore, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon, and AMC Studios.
“Silo” Season 4 premieres July 9, 2027, on Apple TV. Watch the sneak peek below.
