Diana Rigg & Terence Stamp Join Anya Taylor-Joy In Edgar Wright’s New Film ‘Last Night In Soho’

According to reports, production has just started on the upcoming film “Last Night in Soho,” from writer-director Edgar Wright. And as is normally the case, when production begins, we learn the rest of the names that will fill out the cast.

Variety is reporting that Diana Rigg and Terrence Stamp are the latest actors to join Anya Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith, and Thomasin McKenzie in Wright’s latest thriller. The exact details about the character and plot of the film are being kept under wraps but the latest film from the “Shaun of the Dead” filmmaker is said to be a psychological thriller set in the Soho district of London. As mentioned, production has already begun in that very location, so we should be finding out more details in the weeks to come.

Rigg is probably best known for her recent work as Olenna Tyrell on “Game of Thrones,” where she quickly became a fan-favorite and a constant source of quality memes. She earned an Emmy nom for that role, as well as various other roles dating back to the ‘60s when she starred on the famous drama series “The Avengers.”

Stamp is a legendary actor that has appeared in numerous high-profile films. He earned an Oscar nomination for his work in the film “Billy Budd,” but he’s also appeared in projects like “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert,” “The Limey,” and “Superman II.” Most recently, he showed up in a supporting role in Adam Sandler’s Netflix hit comedy film, “Murder Mystery.”

Also joining the cast are actors Rita Tushingham, Michael Ajao, and Synnøve Karlsen. No release date has been given.
