‘Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come’ First Look Images: Radio Silence’s Satirical Horror Follow-Up Coming To Theaters On April 10

The Radio Silence collective is back with a follow-up installment to their breakout satire horror film “Ready or Not,” as “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” landed a batch of first-look images via People Magazine, showcasing the film’s new group of actors joining Samara Weaving‘s Grace in the next chapter that takes place after the brutal events of the final girl’s “killer” wedding night.

Some of those new names on the sequel’s call sheet include Kathryn Newton (“Abigail,” “Freaky”) as Grace’s younger sister Faith, Sarah Michelle Gellar (gearing up for a return to the Buffy Summers role), Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, and even Canadian filmmaker David Cronenberg (“The Shrouds”) is participating in the flick.

“It’s exciting to see Grace into a new f***ed-up situation that deepens her story and her character, and we wanted to make sure that this movie wasn’t just more of the same,” the directing duo of Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin explained in the film’s new profile from People. “We put a ton of love into this movie to make it a worthy sequel that we’re hoping fans of the first movie, and people who are getting to know Grace for the first time, will really love.”

Radio Silence is coming off two installments of the “Scream” franchise, helping to revive the meta-slasher series for Spyglass Media, and even had time to tackle the vampire genre with “Abigail.” At one time, they had been enlisted by 20th Century Studios to develop their new iteration of John Carpenter‘s filmEscape From New York” as a “continuation” rather than a remake, but have seemingly moved on to other projects.
