If you thought the Netflix news for the day was over, you are greatly mistaken. Another tantalizing comedy series has been announced as “A Hundred Percent,” lined up quite a compelling group of actors from the world of humor to lead it. Those names leading the new show are Nick Kroll (“The League”), Sam Richardson (“Werewolves Within,” “Veep”), Jason Mantzoukas (“Big Mouth,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), and Vanessa Bayer (“SNL,” “I Love That For You,” “What We Do In The Shadows”) playing a group of workplace friends.
Gabe Liedman (“PEN15,” Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) is set as the showrunner/writer and will have Kroll writing alongside him. The executive producer team consists of Max Joseph (“Catfish,” “We Are Your Friends,” “15 Minutes of Shame”), Alex Plapinger (“The Legend of Ochi,” “Wild Life”), Liedman, and Kroll.

Liedman and Kroll, of course, have an established relationship with the streamer after their animated projects “Big Mouth” and the spinoff “Human Resources.” Richardson isn’t a stranger, either, being a supporting player in Tim Robinson‘s absurdist sketch show “I Think You Should Leave” (notably, Bayer was featured in one of their more viral sketches).
Netflix‘s official announcement for “A Hundred Percent” also features a brief logline:
A half-hour comedy about a group of friends working inside the Thought Leader industrial complex. Their books, podcasts, and morning routines might help us live our lives more perfectly, but away from the screens and mics, they are most definitely far from perfect.
Hard not to get excited by this group of comedic talent assembled here by Liedman/Kroll and Netflix, as “A Hundred Percent” feels like it could be something special.
