'All In': Amazon To Make Voter Suppression Doc Available For Free Tomorrow

It’s not hyperbolic to say the upcoming US Presidential Election is one of the most important in modern history. With the stakes raised so high, the importance of voting for every eligible citizen in the country is crucial. And with that in mind, for tomorrow’s National Voter Registration Day, Amazon has decided to take one of its most anticipated documentaries of the year, “All In,” and give it away for free.

The company announced today that for tomorrow only, the new documentary, “All In: The Fight for Democracy,” will not only be available on the Prime Video service but will also be available on the platform in front of the paywall, so that non-subscribers will have a chance to watch the film. In addition, ‘All In’ will be made available on Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube, so you don’t even need to go to Amazon’s website to enjoy the important doc.

For those not familiar with the film, “All In: The Fight for Democracy” tackles the issue of voter suppression in the US. Basing its premise on the incredibly problematic gubernatorial race between Stacey Abrams and eventual winner Brian Kemp, the film shows how racism and generally crooked politics have impacted so much of our democracy over the decades. And obviously, the film focuses on the importance of registering to vote.

“Voting is fundamental for our country and democracy, and should be accessible and available to Americans everywhere. Today ‘All In: The Fight for Democracy’ will be accessible on multiple platforms in support of voter awareness and registration for all Americans,” said Abrams.

The film is directed by Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Liz Garbus and Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker Lisa Cortés. It will be available on a number of platforms for free starting tomorrow. You can find more information here.
