'Deadpool 2' Deleted Scene Shows What Happens When The Hero Time-Travels To Kill Baby Hitler

Captain America has killed some Nazis in his time. Indiana Jones has done his fair share of Nazi-killing, as well. But one person not really into killing Nazis is Deadpool. Well, sort of. You see, in a newly released deleted scene for the blockbuster “Deadpool 2,” the titular character decides it would be great to go back in time to murder Hitler…as a baby. But as you can see, things don’t go as planned.

For those that haven’t seen “Deadpool 2,” *spoilers* ahead.

In the now-famous end-credits scene for the film, Negasonic Teenage Warhead fixes the time-traveling doo-hickey that enabled Cable to travel to the present day from the future. And as a gesture of good faith, NTW gives the device to Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool. Wilson, of course, immediately goes back in time to save the dead love of his life. Of course, as the theatrical cut shows, he also goes back in time to change a few other things.

However, one of the scenes that were cut from that end-credits montage is a scene where Deadpool goes back to kill baby Hitler. It sounds like it would be funny, and a no-brainer for the superhero. Instead, as seen, when the time comes, the foul-mouthed hero just doesn’t have the nerve to kill a baby. Of course, he says he’ll go get Cable, who “loves killing kids.”

Clearly, this was probably a joke/scene best left on the cutting room floor. Funny as it is.

In another deleted scene from the film, we see an extended sequence from when Wade is recovering at the X-Mansion at the beginning of the film. A “reformed” Deadpool is shown cleaning up around the house and explaining how he feels much better as a “X-Person.” However, as NTW points out, he’s dressed “like a registered sex offender” and is clearly not in his right mind. It’s a funny sequence, but definitely didn’t need to be in the film.

Overall, its clear that there was a lot cut from “Deadpool 2,” and the upcoming “Super Duper $@%!#& Cut” release is probably going to be chock-full of more deleted goodies.
