Packing up the camper and hitting the road is a popular vacation choice for many, but never has it been depicted with such a gleeful streak of dark comedy as it is in Ben Wheatley's "Sightseers." The director of "Kill List" and "Down Terrace" continues his wicked pace with another new film headed to theaters, and it has four cheeky posters to give you taste of what's to come.
Starring Alice Lowe and Steve Oram — who also developed the characters for years and wrote the script — the story is quite simple. Chris is eager to show Tina his world and who he is by taking her on a little vacation through the countryside, but he soon reveals a much darker side of himself when bodies start to stack up. Wheatley's film is deadpan about the true nature of Chris and Tina, and as a result, the events that pop up in the film tend to be both shocking and funny. And these four new posters nicely capture the spirit of the movie.
"Sightseers" opens in the U.K. on November 30th and while IFC Films has the U.S. rights, no date has been set just yet.
