Today, we can share a trailer for the upcoming genre-bending pic “Dust Bunny” directed by Bryan Fuller that will be released by Lionsgate later in the year that is starring Mads Mikkelsen as a neighbor recruited by a young girl to help face monsters under her bed after eating her parents.
Fuller, who previously worked with Mikkelsen on the beloved series iteration of “Hannibal,” is making his feature film directorial debut (from a script he also penned) after things didn’t work out on his “Friday the 13th” series “Crystal Lake” at A24 over creative differences.
Sophie Sloan, Sigourney Weaver, David Dastmalchian, Rebecca Henderson, and Shelia Atim also star in the movie, which has some extremely elaborate sets and stylish costumes, alongside Mikkelsen.

In visionary creator Bryan Fuller’s (“Hannibal,” “Pushing Daisies”) fantastical and wickedly inventive feature directorial debut Dust Bunny, a 10-year-old girl joins forces with her hit man neighbor to confront each other’s monsters.
Ten-year-old Aurora has a mysterious neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) who kills real-life monsters. He’s a hit man for hire. So, when Aurora needs help killing the monster she believes ate her entire family, she procures his services. Suspecting that her parents may have fallen victim to assassins gunning for him, Aurora’s neighbor guiltily takes the job. Now, to protect her, he’ll need to battle an onslaught of assassins ― and accept that some monsters are real.
A producing team features Fuller with Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, the duo best known for being behind the “John Wick” franchise.
