Want to wash the mediocre taste of “Quantum of Solace” and its horrible theme song (Jack White and Alicia Keys musically announce from minute one that this is going to suck) out of your mouth and brain? We do. Here’s L.A. singer Inara George (who we really dig) and Ben Folds doing “Nobody Does It Better,” the Carly-Simon sung theme to ”77s, “The Spy Who Loved Me” from a recent Jimmy Kimmel live performance (via Soundboard).
George sung some of the angelic female vocals on the “Me And You And Everyone We Know” soundtrack written by Micheal Andrews. Her other group The Bird and the Bee were featured on the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” soundtrack. Her new album An Invitation is also a collaboration with famous Beach Boys collaborator Van Dyke Parks which is nothing to sniff at. Their album sounds like a frolicking Disney soundtrack, the orchestration is rad.
