The Playlist has learned that actress Jessica Henwick (“Glass Onion,” “The Matrix Resurrections”) is joining Taron Egerton in the new film “Everybody Wants To F*ck Me” from writer/director Jonathan Schey with STUDIOCANAL, Film4, Parkville Pictures, and Margot Robbie‘s LuckyChap Entertainment also behind the film.
Set in London, “Everybody Wants To F*ck Me” is an original razor-sharp comedy thriller taking place in the world of modern dating. Cameras roll in November with the aim to get the movie in theaters sometime in 2026 (stay tuned for a future date once they’ve completed shooting/editing). This marks Schey‘s first entry into the world of directing feature-length films after tackling various shorts and helming episodes of the British coming-of-age series “Ladhood.”

Ron Halpern and Joe Naftalin of STUDIOCANAL said in an official statement, “We were blown away by Jonathan’s thrilling and subversive vision for this film. We are excited to be working with Taron in the lead role, and the amazing teams Jonathan, Parkville, and LuckyChap have assembled. Along with our partners at Film4, we can’t wait to bring this special project to cinema audiences around the world next year!”
STUDIOCANAL will launch worldwide sales at the American Film Market, releasing theatrically in their territories, the UK, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Benelux & Poland.
Additionally, STUDIOCANAL and Film4 are fully financing the pic with Halpern, Naftalin, and Isobel Carter overseeing for the former. Farhana Bhula and David Kimbangi for Film4, which had been behind the original development of the “Everybody Wants To F*uck Me” script. Cecilia Frugiuele and Olivier Kaempfer (duo at Parkville Pictures) and LuckyChap of “Barbie” fame are also producing together.
We’ll be excited to hear what other acting talent gets added to the call sheet of the original thriller, but Henwick and Egerton are a great pairing from the jump.
