Marvel Pulls From All 22 Films For Its Newest (And Best) 'Avengers: Endgame' Trailer

The marketing campaign for “Avengers: Endgame” has been a masterclass on how to promote a film without really talking about the actual content. Building off the success of 21 previous films, Marvel Studios has crafted trailers and ads that utilize the hours and hours of footage from your favorite superhero films and cut together what looks to be pretty expertly crafted fan-made videos. And the latest “trailer” might actually be the best, most comprehensive yet.

The latest trailer/TV spot/video, titled “To the End,” tugs on your heartstrings quite a bit as it features scenes and voice over curated from a selection of the 21 films and paints the picture that everything you’ve seen up until now has been building to ‘Endgame.’ From Tony Stark creating his first suit to Captain America grabbing the shield for the first time to T’Challah yelling “Wakanda forever!” it’s all been building to the final confrontation with the Mad Titan, Thanos.

At two-minutes-and-thirty-seconds, not a moment is wasted as the trailer shows clips from every MCU film to date. Every. Single. One. And yes, it’s all footage you’ve seen before and narration that has been said previously, but there’s something epic about combining it all into one clip that is the perfect primer for what is expected to be the best, most epic film of them all. Please don’t screw this up, Marvel. Okay?

Now, if you’re spoiler-averse, and that probably includes 99% of you out there, please be aware that there are some spoilers floating around today. Apparently, footage has leaked of key moments from ‘Endgame,’ including the climax. So, just be warned that the spoilers are out there and as fans of these films, we all need to be on the lookout and keep our guards up.
