The end of the year in cinema brings about a slew of compilation videos, with Oscar contenders, blockbusters, and more finding themselves included in the mix. With all of the incredible cinematic content that came out this year, it can remain a difficult task to look back and remember everything that has come and gone.
Clark Zhu‘s video starts with a bang, diving into the action films of 2017 including “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Atomic Blonde,” and “The Foreigner.” Yep, it’s certainly a healthy mix of pictures. The raunchiest comedies that found their way to theatres are previewed with foul-mouthed language and outrageous dancing, while later segments in the compilation include an homage to horror, and much more.
The video does a very commendable job of syncing twelve months of movies into an eight minute ride. It highlights what this year brought audiences in a way that both celebrates genre and leaves you wanting to return to the big screen. It has been a wonderful year for cinema, and with plenty to look forward to in 2018, audiences will have plenty of reasons to keep going to the movies.
