You've already seen it on our list of the 100 Most Anticipated Films Of 2013, and now here's a closer look at Wong Kar-wai's "The Grandmaster," his long-awaited new feature, and his first in six years since 2007's English-language venture, "My Blueberry Nights."
These latest images give us another look at the film's lead and frequent Wong collaborator, Tony Leung. He plays Ip Man, the lengendary martial arts master of Wing Chun who mentored folks like Bruce Lee. We also get a closer look at Song Hye-kyo who, according to the fansite who shared these images, apparently didn't take too kindly to the extended production of the movie and won't be attending the world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival, as she's upset her role has been reduced while Zhang Ziyi's was expanded.
"The Grandmaster" opens on January 8th in China. Here's hoping a U.S. distribution deal isn't too far behind.
