Rachel Weisz Wraps Sam Claflin Around Her Finger In New Trailer For 'My Cousin Rachel'

Dramatic familial intrigue in ye olden tymes may not be the stuff of your normal summer blockbuster, but Fox Searchlight is hoping that, like “Far From The Madding Crowd” a couple years back, “My Cousin Rachel” will find a counter-programming audience with those who’ve lost track of what “Fast & Furious” or “Transformers” we’re at.

Starring Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin, the movie brings Daphne du Maurier‘s novel to the big screen, and tells the story of an Englishman who plots revenge against his cousin. Here’s the official synopsis:

A dark romance, MY COUSIN RACHEL tells the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms.
