Take A Look At The Character Posters For Wes Anderson’s ‘Moonrise Kingdom’

nullUsually we associate motion posters with a marketing campaign geared towards a blockbuster, not a sweet, low-key, auteur-driven indie. But if Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom" marks his first period picture, then perhaps it's only fitting that he's changing his game up on the marketing end as well, with character-driven motion posters dropping on a variety of sites for the film.

The interactive one sheets give us a closer look at the two leads Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward, the young runaway lovers. We also get their parents played by Bill Murray and Frances McDormand; the scout leader played by Edward Norton; Bruce Willis doing his thing as the cop; Jason Schwartzman as Cousin Ben and Tilda Swinton as the unnamed social services worker. Each poster brings with it additional stills and details, helping to build the world of 1960s New England and the relationship between these two kids, that Anderson will be bringing to the big screen. So get clicking below.
