Got a Tip?

The Wolfpack Will Go To Tijuana In ‘The Hangover Part 3’

nullWhile the youngsters of "Project X" filled out Warner Bros. dudes-getting-drunk-and-into-trouble niche this year to the tune of $94 million worldwide (not bad for a low budget movie with no big names attached to it), in 2013 The Wolfpack will be back to show 'em how it's done in "The Hangover Part III." And while chatter has been pretty steady ever since "The Hangover Part II" about what the final entry of the series will involve, it now seems like a clearer picture is emerging of what the movie will entail.

The Toronto Sun and Las Vegas Sun (via The Film Stage) have both picked up on reports that say that "The Hangover Part III" will have its final round of drinks in Tijuana, Mexico, with the story centering on Alan's escape from a mental hospital. This is pretty much exactly what Zach Galifianakis said exactly one year ago, adding that Phil and Stu help get him out. As for how they wind up south of the border, we're sure there will be some kind of crazy explanation and that Ken Jeong will inevitably show up again as well. The reports also say shooting will take place in Los Angeles and Las Vegas as well, which falls in line with what Bradley Cooper said at the end of the last year. So the puzzle pieces are coming together.

At the very least, it seems like the last chapter will diverge somewhat from the carbon copy of "The Hangover Part II" that unfortunately didn't duplicate the laugh quotient of the first film. We'll see the results when the movie opens on May 24, 2013. Production is slated to begin this month.
