Contest: Win Copies Of The Oscar-Nominated Films ‘I, Tonya’ And ‘Get Out’ On Blu-Ray

The Oscars have come and gone. The trophies have been collected and acceptance speeches have been made. And everyone now knows what an “inclusion rider” is, thanks to Frances McDormand. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t take a moment to recognize two of 2017’s best films and offer a chance for three lucky winners to enjoy these Oscar-nominated films from the comfort of their home.

While he may not have picked up the Best Picture trophy, writer/director Jordan Peele has to be happy that he was able to win the coveted Best Original Screenplay Oscar for his debut film “Get Out.” The socially-conscious horror/thriller caught everyone off-guard when it was released a year ago, earning a ton of money at the box office and widespread critical acclaim. And now’s your time to dissect every frame of the film, with all its glorious subtext from your couch. As if that wasn’t enough, afterward you can follow “Get Out” with a film that highlights another horrible white family, “I, Tonya.”

Nominated for three Academy Awards, including eventual Oscar winner Best Supporting Actress Allison Janney, “I, Tonya” is the funny, but also horrifying in its own right, film about the disgraced figure skating legend Tonya Harding, played by the wonderful Margot Robbie. The film is so ridiculous, and awesome, you’ll have to keep reminding yourself that these people actually exist and this is a true story. Definitely not the most conventional double-feature pairing with “Get Out,” “I, Tonya” can be viewed as a palate cleanser that will help you rest easy after Jordan Peele’s film ruins your view of humanity.

To win a copy of both Oscar films on Blu-ray, all you have to do is follow us on Facebook and Twitter, tweet: “I want to win the Oscar double-feature from @ThePlaylist. #WinThePlaylistContest,” and include this link. Your final step: just email us your tweet to [email protected], with your full name and address, and tells us the name of your favorite Margot Robbie movie. Good luck!

Update: Contest closed, winners will be contacted via email.
