‘Too Much’ & ‘Hacks’ Actress Meg Stalter Wants A Crack At ‘The White Lotus’ Or Funny Horror Film

Meg Stalter is likely best known for her scene-stealing in the recent season of “Hacks” but is getting the lead treatment for the upcoming Lena Dunham Netflix show “Too Much,” which debuts on July 10.

The up-and-coming actress did an interview with the fine folks over at IndieWire to promote the Netflix streaming series, revealing her ambition to nab a part in HBO‘s “The White Lotus” and, if that doesn’t work out, has a desire to enter the world of horror comedies as well.

“I just, first of all, want to keep going. My goal has always been to write stuff that I’m in. And I really would love to be in something kind of scary. I mean, of course, everybody wants to be in ‘The White Lotus,'” Stalter told IndieWire, adding that she’d be just as happy to tackle a “funny horror film” if that collaboration with Mike White doesn’t pan out. “I think that’d be so cool.”

Having previously worked with HBO on their award-winning and acclaimed series “Hacks” would likely help the comedic actress get her foot in the door. However, White is a little busy these days, returning as a contestant on the reality game show, “Survivor,” and likely won’t be rushing into production on a fourth season anytime soon.

Perhaps, Stalter might be able to find that hypothetical horror project role in the meantime as White focuses on those tribal challenges (White has some strange ideas of what constitutes a “vacation”).

She’s not the only one recently talking up a want to be part of “The White Lotus” family, as Nicole Kidman (“Nine Perfect Strangers”) was another actress campaigning for a part.
