This month finally sees the release of the anticipated Netflix mystery-thriller series “Untamed,” which has actors Eric Bana and Sam Neill playing characters investigating a killing at Yosemite National Park, and they have to start looking at their rural community for possible suspects.
The streaming service has sent over a new trailer for the show to share. Others among the cast of “Untamed” are Rosemarie DeWitt, Lily Santiago, Wilson Bethel, and William Smillie.

A character-driven mystery-thriller that follows Kyle Turner (played by Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.
Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith are showrunners and creators of “Untamed,” as the former was behind “The Revenant,” Bad Robot‘s genre-bending WWII zombie pic “Overlord,” George Clooney‘s “The Midnight Sky,” “Twisters,” created the Netflix western series “American Primevil,” and had once been tasked to collaborate with Quentin Tarantino on a never-made “Star Trek” film at Paramount Pictures.
An upcoming feature penned by Smith is Ridley Scott‘s latest sci-fi movie “The Dog Stars,” which stars Jacob Elordi, Margaret Qualley, Josh Brolin, Guy Pearce, and Benedict Wong.
Netflix is set to drop “Untamed” on July 17, and you can view the main trailer for the streaming series below.
