Watch: A Sneak Peak At The Final Episode Of 'True Detective' Season 3

As the third season for “True Detective” draws to its conclusion, HBO gives us an inside look at the final episode in this thrilling crime series.

Each season of “True Detective” has its own narrative and story arc. Following Detectives Wayne Hayes and Roland West, the third season explores the investigation into the disappearance of two missing children, as well as the detectives’ own troubles, over the course of three separate time periods.

In a video promo on the final episode “Now Am Found,” HBO gives us a glimpse of what’s in store for our Detective Wayne Hayes. The episode will tackle Wayne’s emotions on his family, especially with his daughter leaving for college, and his acceptance of his ailing condition as an old man. And, of course, the truth behind the truth behind the Purcell case will finally be revealed in this last episode of the season.

This season of ‘True Detective’ marks show-creator Nic Pizzolatto‘s directorial debut as he takes the helm for the whole season with help from Daniel Sackheim (“X-Files“) and Jeremy Saulnier (“Hold the Dark“). Detective Wayne Hayes is played by Academy Award-winning Mahershala Ali (“Moonlight“) with Stephen Dorff (“Blade“) as Detective Roland West.
