Watch David Lynch's New Music Video For The Song 'Sublime Eternal Love'

Several days ago, David Lynch took to social media to tease… something. He wasn’t very open about what it was, just saying that it was something for fans to hear and watch. Well, now we know exactly what he was teasing.

As seen on David Lynch’s YouTube channel, he’s shared a new music video for a song “Sublime Eternal Love,” which will appear on a new album that he is working on alongside singer-actor Chrystabell. The video, as well as the song, are both fairly reserved. This is definitely not a blockbuster, expensive music video from someone like Taylor Swift. That said, the video still has a definite Lynchian-ness to it.

Chrystabell and Lynch have been collaborating for years now, dating back to the time she released a song for his 2006 film, “Inland Empire.” From there, they worked on music together and he would eventually cast her in “Twin Peaks: The Return.” Now, it appears the duo are working on music yet again, with a new album on the way called “Cellophane Memories.”

Of course, for many Lynch fans, this wasn’t the news they were hoping for. It’s been seven years since “Twin Peaks: The Return,” which marks the last true Lynch film or TV project. Prior to that, it was 2006’s aforementioned “Inland Empire.” People have been hoping that Lynch would have a new TV or film project to announce today.

Alas, that wasn’t in the cards.
