This summer, Michael Bay is doing the one thing he does best: blowing a whole bunch of stuff up really, really good. Yep, the Autobots and Decepticons and more are back for “Transformers: Age Of Extinction” aka the one without Shia LaBeouf.
But hey, Paramount ain’t sweatin’ it because they’ve got Mark Wahlberg taking over the lead role, that sees a new threat coming to Earth, and government official types forced to take our mechanical heroes out of the metaphorical garage, after leaving them essentially in exile to rust. And stuff gets smashed up real good, with lots of special effects, and noises, and reaction shots, and uh, a soundtrack featuring Imagine Dragons… for the kids? We guess? What a weird choice, but we suppose marginally better than Linkin Park or whoever.
“Transformers: Age Of Extinction” rocks out on June 27th. 5.19.14 Update: a new international trailer has arrived and you can watch that below as well.
