Making movies isn’t easy. Long hours, lots of down time, egos, creative differences and more can make the experience an arduous, stressful task, creating enemies for life and anecdotes galore to fill future pages of Vanity Fair (hello, “World War Z“). But it doesn’t always have to be that way, and when it comes to Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling, the pair are total bros for life.
The first behind-the-scenes clip from “Only God Forgives” has dropped and it’s mostly confirmation that Refn and Gosling are dudes4eva, with the two totally bro-ing out with each other. Among the one minute footage we see Refn trying to explain the correlation between violence and sex, Gosling boxing shirtless (ZOMG LADIES) and also a shot of the director in the trademark fabric wrap he wears on set around his waist.
As you know, “Only God Forgives” will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, and it is now slated to make its U.S. debut at the L.A. Film Festival in June before opening on July 19th.
