Watch: Trailer For Todd Louiso's 'Hello I Must Be Going' Starring Melanie Lynskey

nullWhile the movies have generally favored older men chasing younger women, often to comedic effect, the reverse rarely gets explored. And when it does, it's certainly not with the emotional weight and insight of Todd Louiso's "Hello, I Must Be Going."

Premiering in January at Sundance, and earning buzz on the festival circuit traveling to Dallas, Seattle, Provincetown and more, the film stars Melanie Lynskey ("Up In The Air," "Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World" — and finally in a deserving lead role) as a divorced and down-on-her-luck 35-year-old woman who is forced to move back in with her parents, and winds up in an unconventional relationship with a 19 year old teenage boy (Christopher Abbott aka Charlie from "Girls"). And what results is something a bit more complex than you might expect, perhaps something along the lines of a mid-life coming-of-age tale that our pal James Rocchi said in his review was, "Warm and funny, real and raw, [the film] deserves a hearty welcome from moviegoers looking for an honest and frank comedy that never forgets to help us care about its characters." Sounds pretty good to us.

Also featuring Blythe Danner and Jimmi Simpson, "Hello I Must Be Going" opens on September 7th. Watch the trailer below.
