'A Complete Unknown' Teaser: Timothée Chalamet Stars As Bob Dylan In James Mangold's Upcoming Biopic

There are few musicians that can rival the influence and popularity of Bob Dylan. He’s an absolute legend. That’s what makes the upcoming biopic, “A Complete Unknown,” so interesting.

As seen in the teaser, “A Complete Unknown” traces Bob Dylan’s surprising rise from a simple folk singer to one of the most popular artists in the world. The film focuses on Dylan when he was 19 years old and just starting out, and then the film culminates in his iconic performance during the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.

The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook, Norbert Leo Butz, Dan Fogler, and Scoot McNairy. “A Complete Unknown” is directed by James Mangold, who co-wrote the script alongside Jay Cocks.

Interestingly, you can tell that Chalamet is actually performing all of the Dylan music himself. And believe it or not, he’s actually quite good. We’ll have to wait and see if his performance during the film is at all distracting to those who love Dylan’s work.
