Frank Langella, Mark Hamill, Carla Gugino & Many More Join The Cast Of Mike Flanagan’s ‘Fall Of The House Of Usher’ Netflix Series

Back in October, it was announced that horror maestro, Mike Flanagan, was set to return to Netflix for yet another limited series, this time tackling “The Fall of the House of Usher.” Not many details were known about the look and feel of the series, but considering his previous works, many assumed Flanagan would bring in yet another great ensemble cast. And that’s exactly what is happening.

According to a flurry of tweets from Mike Flanagan, we now know who will be joining the ensemble cast for his Netflix series, “The Fall of the House of Usher,” based on the work from Edgar Allan Poe. Leading the cast is Frank Langella, but he will be joined by Carla Gugino, Mark Hamill, Mary McDonnell, Carl Lumbly, Henry Thomas, Samantha Sloyan, T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Kate Siegel, Sauriyan Sapkota, Katie Parker, Michael Trucco, Malcolm Goodwin, Crystal Balint, Kyleigh Curran, Paola Nunez, Aya Furukawa, Matt Biedel, Daniel Jun, Ruth Codd, Robert Longstreet, and Annabeth Gish.

Clearly, that’s an absolutely massive cast, including some new faces and returning Flanagan favorites. This would lead us to believe the series is going to be the biggest yet for the filmmaker who previously released “The Haunting of Hill House,” “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” and “Midnight Mass” on Netflix. Describing the scope of the series, Flanagan tweeted, “This miniseries is a modern remix of some of the most iconic works of Edgar Allan Poe. To tell this epic tale of greed, horror, and tragedy, we have assembled the largest ensemble cast in the history of Intrepid Pictures.”

A release date for “The Fall of the House of Usher” has yet to be announced. However, considering how casting is already done, production should definitely be ramping up soon. Perhaps, we could see Flanagan’s latest before the end of 2022?
