'Jiu Jitsu' Contest: Enter For A Chance To Watch Nicolas Cage Fight Aliens With Martial Arts For Free

If you’re a fan of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), the term Jiu Jitsu is probably not new. However, in MMA, the term is used to discuss a specific branch of the martial art, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). Trust me, this is very different than the style of fighting that is found in the sci-fi action film, “Jiu Jitsu,” which stars Nicolas Cage.

And in honor of “Jiu Jitsu” arriving in theaters and VOD later this week, we’re giving our readers a chance to watch the film for free by securing digital downloads of the new feature. And believe me, this is a film that anyone who calls themselves a fan of Nicolas Cage is going to want to watch. (Or if you’re a fan of batshit crazy, sci-fi action.) Here’s the synopsis for the film (which does little to really hint at the insanity of the film, to be quite honest): “An ancient order of Jiu Jitsu fighters faces a vicious race of alien invaders in an epic battle for the survival of Earth.”

Yes, that sounds pretty bonkers, on its own. But add in Nicolas Cage, Frank Grillo, and Tony Jaa and you know you’re in for a film that is balls-to-the-wall action and spectacle. Let’s be honest, without even watching the trailer for the film, just knowing that “Jiu Jitsu” is about Nic Cage saving the world from aliens using martial arts is enough to sell anyone on this film.

“Jiu Jitsu” is directed by Dimitri Logothetis, who co-wrote the script with James McGrath. Logothetis is probably best known for his action films such as “Kickboxer: Retaliation” and “Wings of the Dragon.”

To win a digital download, all you have to do is follow The Playlist on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter , tweet: “I want to win the ‘Jiu Jitsu’ Giveaway from @ThePlaylist. #WinThePlaylistContest,” and include the URL of this story.
