While his films can be a point of debate among many, one thing that can’t be argued is that no one teases better than J.J. Abrams. And today a bit more wrapping is coming off "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The latest tidbit is that Kylo Ren, the presumed villain played by Adam Driver, has a few secrets up his sleeve. Firstly, that controversial triple lightsaber?
“The lightsaber is something that he built himself, and is as dangerous and as fierce and as ragged as the character,” the director told EW.
However, the most intriguing news is that Kylo Ren is not actually the character’s birth name. “He is a character who came to the name Kylo Ren when he joined a group called the Knights of Ren,” Abrams teased.

"I think that what makes Ren so unique is that he isn’t as fully formed as when we meet a character such as Darth Vader. And I think that there are two sides to the Force. Both sides, arguably, would see themselves as the hero of their story, and I think that applies here," he said, adding: "He is not your prototypical mustache-twirling bad guy. He is a little bit more complex than that."
So, of course, the question becomes: who is Kylo Ren really? The forums will light up with various theories over the next few months, but share yours below.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens on December 18th.
